LAPBAND FILL #1 (2-4-08)

talk about a reality check! holy crap! i got my first fill 2 days ago on 2/4 and it went great!!!! the totally cute dr steve as i call him had me lay down on the table with a pillow under the small of my back and one under my head, then he kept having me raise my head n relax as he was feeling for the port. next kinda freaked me out right as i look over at him he says "ok and a poke for the needle " and i saw his hand move like he was litterally stabbing me! but to my suprise it was a real little poke not even as bad as a shot.I found out i have a 14 cc band and they normally start ya off with a 3 cc fill but he gave me 4. The clear liquids all day monday almost killed me....ok not really but my stomach kept growling finally i got tired of it and went to bed....12 hrs later up n around i was lol. the second day i was suppose to have full liquids and back to normal today but last nite i had some wendys chicken nuggets lol. havent had any problem with those but i been drinking my water like nuts and i feel some pressure going on....not quite sure what to think of it yet might be time to hit the bullitens lol. But anyway yea it seems like a week ago i was sooo depressed cuase i kept getting denied for surgery and here it is already had the first fill and second one schedualed on 2/18. crazy
