LAPBAND FILL #6 (7-2-08)

well i litterally just walked in the door from getting my 6th fill. I now have 10 ccs in my 14 cc band. Oh want a day. My appt was suppose to be at 2 pm so i was there 10 mins early as usual. My co worker who had got banded a month before me was also there. I knew it was going to be a long wait since his appt was suppose to be at 130. After shooting the breeze with him for awhile, he was finally called in. Then the long wait really started. At about 230 he came out and told me a little about how his appointment went no fill for him today. So i figured yaay I should be next. finally at 245 they called my name. I was pretty frustrated by this time and when i got on the scale, it just added to it. I only lost 4 lbs in the past month. I knew I needed a fill a month ago and that just kind of irritated me.Any how, then the fill. It wasnt my dr that i liked doing it, it was the nurse who i had the first encounter with that really came off as a ____! She was really nice to me today and really releaved some stress off the situation. She decided to give me a whole nother cc and the whole thing litterally took 4 mins. I feel like it was rushed since they were behind. I walked in, she asked me 4 questions while she poked for my port, poke the needle in and wiggled it around ( which my brother was totally squirming becuase it looked as if she was stabbing me lol) and i kept laughing becuase it tickled. after she shoved the cc in she put a bandaid on and said see you in 2 weeks. at this time i was like huh? the dr office that only gives out monthly appointments wants to see me in 2 weeks? so i had to verify with her and yep i go back in the 16th and shes hoping by then for me to lose another 4-8 lbs minimum.I didnt have to do the drinking the water thing to make sure it stayed down or anything, basically was a poke and run. so we will see how i do in the next two week.
